Quest Text
Offer
The Herald's letter reads: 'When the last barge has sailed, come to the stone of blood. The Mother will have her army from the water itself.' The druids who raised the Blood Stone bound old magic into it, and she means to turn that magic to her own use. Go to the Blood Stone, in the marsh south-east of here on the way to Blackmire. Kill the grave-callers who chant around it, then pour this blessed salt over it. The Light will not let blood-magic take root where the salt has fallen. I will be praying for you every step of the way.

You felt it too, did you not? When the salt touched the stone, something beneath the water let go. But the Herald was not among the dead. Her grave-callers were only keeping the stone warm for her. She is still out there, and a woman like that does not give up because one door has closed.
