Offer

The Light keep you. I am Sister Tamsin Varrow of the White Crucible. Brother Aldric of Oakenvale sent me south when he heard that the dead of this swamp will not stay in the ground. Bone saws and grinding stones at the palace ruins, you say? The Crucible has heard of a grey fever in the villages to the north, and I begin to fear it is the same story. The Pallbearers do not carry their powder on their backs. They load it onto barges at the grey landing near the Nighthorn portal and pole it north through the channels. Sink all three barges, and put down the Bonegrinders who guard them. Not one more sack leaves this swamp.

On Completion

Three barges on the bottom of the marsh. Good. Let the water keep what was given to it. The Bonegrinders fought like men defending a temple, not a cargo. Whatever that powder is for, it matters to them more than their lives. And one of them carried this letter, signed by the Herald herself. I do not like what it says.
