Something's not right in Northcut. The deeper we cut, the more the woods push back. My boys spotted things out there, tall, black-rooted creatures with hollow eyes, whispering in a tongue no man speaks. They stand still until you blink… then they're gone. Lumber won't haul itself, and I won't send good men into cursed woods without knowing what we're dealing with. You're not afraid of shadows, are you? Good. Go north of Northcut Logging Camp. Find out what's stirring those twisted ents, and report back to me.
Objective
Investigate the source of the dark magic near Northcut Logging Camp
On Completion
You've returned from the north, and the news is grim. Dark magic stirs the ents of Northcut, and something far worse than twisted wood is behind it. Your investigation has given us the information we need. Now we can prepare for what comes next.
