My father was a good man once. After Mother died of the winter cough, a woman in grey came to our door and told him that the dead don't have to stay dead. He believed her. Now he calls himself the Grey Harvester. Tonight he means to raise everyone the fever has killed, all at once, for her. Three of his grave-callers keep the ritual going in the circle behind the house. Kill them, and then... then stop him. Please. Whatever he is now, don't let him finish it. And when it's done, tell Edwin I'm sorry. He was always kind to us.

On Completion

So it’s done. Poor Osric. And poor Tobin. I’ll send for the boy tomorrow. There’s a bed here for him for as long as he wants it. Come spring I’ll plough those fields myself and plant clean seed, and the harvest gods can have the first sheaf. You’ve saved more than Oakenvale, friend. You’ve saved the whole of the woods.
