I sifted every grain of it. The grey is bone meal, ground as fine as flour, and it's been soaked in something that still stinks of the grave. Old bones, too. They were in the ground for years before somebody dug them up again. There's only one place near Oakenvale with that many old bones: the cemetery south of town. Ugrak Gravehand keeps the graves there, and he's been grumbling about robbers for weeks. Go and see what he's found. If anyone's digging, stop them, and bring back whatever it is they're grinding.

Hrm. Grave-meal. My grandmother had a name for it. Bones of the dead, ground to dust and cursed, so that whoever eats it carries the grave inside them. These are no robbers. Robbers take gold rings. These took the bones and left the rings. I have kept this ground for twenty years. Nobody takes the dead from me.
