You there! You look like you can handle yerself in a fight. Name's Thalgrim Wayfinder, me and my kin came to Skittershade Pass in search o' a rare ore, the kind ye don't find anywhere else in Afallon. We found signs of an old abandoned mine deep inside the pass, just where the ore's supposed to be. But the place… it's infested. Giant spiders. Nasty, leggy things. We camped just outside the mine, planned to go deeper in the mornin'. But during the night, I woke to screams, my brothers were bein' dragged away, wrapped in silk like meat in a butcher's stall. I barely escaped with me beard intact. I've no doubt some of 'em are still alive, cocooned somewhere in the webs. Please, if ye've got the courage, go in there and cut 'em free. Save whoever's still breathin'.
