I've been followin' some prints through the mud, big ones, too. Not like any of the bears ye've cut down. These are deeper, wider… older. Whatever made 'em is still out there, spreadin' the sickness through every patch of ground it touches. It ain't the source, mark me words, but it's carryin' the plague farther each day. I can't track it alone; me hound won't even go near the scent. Head out into the woods and look for its tracks, eight of 'em should be enough to mark the trail. Bring back what ye find, and maybe we can figure out where the beast makes its den.
On Completion
You've tracked the prints and brought back proof. Whatever made these tracks is bigger and older than the infected bears, and it's spreadin' the plague wherever it roams. With this evidence, we can start huntin' the beast in earnest. You've done well.
