If we're going to make a stand here, we'll need more than sharpened steel. The men can't sleep in the mud forever. Briarstead's ruins still hold good timber, strong beams, solid planks, anything we can salvage. Most of it's half-buried under rubble or half-burned, but it'll serve. We can use it to start rebuilding the palisades and lay the groundwork for the village again. Take a cart or your own hands, I don't care which just bring back what you can. Watch for the dead while you're out there. They've made those ruins their home now, and they don't like company.
On Completion
You've brought back timber from the ruins! Good, solid wood, too. This will go a long way toward rebuilding the palisades and giving the men proper shelter. Briarstead will rise again, one beam at a time. You've done well.
