World Quests
World Quests offer time-limited objectives and rewards in zones across the map.
Where and when they appear
Quest pages show each World Quest's zone and duration.
A World Quest starts with a random wait before its first roll. Once active, it stays available for the duration on its quest page unless it ends sooner.
Several World Quests can be active across the map at once, up to the world limit. A zone chooses one quest from its own pool at a time.
After completion or expiry, a World Quest waits its own cooldown plus a random extra wait before it can be selected again. The completion and expiry cooldowns can differ.
After a zone’s quest ends, the zone waits before choosing another quest from its pool. If the wait is zero, it can choose immediately.
Joining and completing
Entering a zone while its World Quest is active adds that quest automatically. If the quest activates while you are already in its zone, it is added then. Leaving the zone abandons an unfinished quest.
When an active World Quest ends, completed objectives turn it in automatically and grant its rewards. Unfinished objectives are abandoned when the quest expires.
Rewards and Heroic Cache
World Quest rewards can include items, currency, experience, faction standing, and weapon experience. See each quest page for its rewards.
While the Heroic tier is live, Heroic Cache multiplies positive World Quest currency rewards after level scaling. It does not multiply the quest’s experience reward.
