I don't suppose you passed a wrecked cart on the western trail coming in? One of our supply runs didn't make it, wheel snapped clean off on a patch of ice. The driver made it back, but the cargo didn't. There's a crate with my name scratched into the lid sitting out there, and it's full of salt, dried herbs, and the only spices within fifty miles. If scavengers or frost goblins get to it first, we're eating bland snow-hare until spring.
