Quest Text

Offer

Twenty years I fish this water. Twenty years, one toad steals my fish. Big as a boat. Old Gulper. He sits in the pools north of here and eats everything. Fish, nets, once a whole canoe. Last week he ate my hook. My grandfather's hook, bone and iron, older than me. I want it back. Cut it out of him. What is left of him, I will smoke. Old Gulper will feed my family all winter.

On Completion

My hook! Still sharp. Grandfather made good hooks. You did good work. Take this, and come back in winter. Smoked Gulper. Best thing you ever ate. I promise.
