Offer
Ah, traveler, you look capable, and more importantly, willing to get your hands dirty. Word has reached us from the north, from Fort Duskwatch. Captain Branor Thornefield and his men are trying to reclaim the old village of Briarstead, but they're sorely undermanned. The dead still walk there, and each day their numbers grow. Captain Thornefield is a good man, an old war hero. I fought beside him, once, in darker times. If anyone can bring order back to that cursed stretch of forest, it's him… but he'll need help. Your help. Follow the western road from Oakenvale. You'll find Fort Duskwatch among the ruins. Tell the Captain that Brother Aldric of Oakenvale sent you, he'll know what that means.
On Completion
So Brother Aldric still remembers the old oaths. Good. We need every blade and every prayer we can muster if we're to reclaim Briarstead. Welcome to Fort Duskwatch, traveler. Your arrival is timely, and your aid will not be forgotten.
